This page will be updated as we find out more information – do you have any?
As you will see from the How It Works page, a history of everywhere you use your card for parking and whenever you visit the dump is being stored for 6 years by the council. It is explained that Officers of the Council that manage the scheme will have access to the entire system in order to ‘prevent abuse’, for example, when someone uses the card for two daily charges at the car park.
The card itself has a card number which is linked within the system back to the CRM software at Hillingdon. Any Officer of the Council can access your parking history, dump usage etc as the card is linked to you personally back in the CRM. It is possible for these officers to identify which parking machine a card has been used on and who the card is registered to.
Officers of the Council that manage the Hillingdon First scheme have access to the data on the CRM, library system, smart connect and the parking managment system. The external companies and their employees have access to the card data.
You can request the data, and anything else the Council hold about you, under the Data Protection Act. You can also request they remove data & information.
