Unfortunately, just knowing how something works doesn’t make the scheme any less intrusive or wrong and certainly doesn’t overcome the concerns that are being raised, if anything it shows how little information is being given to residents that it takes an FOI request just to get basic information. Questions about the poor consultation, the privacy issues (including the 6 years history) and future uses are still here and still being asked.

We should have perhaps made this all clear to the public earlier on though to save the concerns being raised on data security and tracking etc?
